What happens in the first meeting?: You talk, we listen, and then we tell you what the law does with the facts you have. It runs about 45 minutes. Bring anything on paper: the lease, the complaint, the old will, the letter that started this.
Do you charge for the consultation?: Set your own policy here and say it plainly. Whatever you choose, put the number on the page. People call the firm that tells them the price before they pick up the phone.
Can you tell me what my case is worth on the phone?: Not honestly, no. We can tell you the range of outcomes we see in matters like yours and what usually moves a case from one end of that range to the other.
What if I already have an attorney?: Second opinions are fine and common. Bring the file. If your current counsel is doing the right things, we will say so and you will not have wasted the trip.
